In M.M. v. M.F., 2020-Ohio-5082, the Eighth District Court of Appeals affirmed summary judgment in Defendant M.F.’s favor on plaintiffs’ claims for negligent entrustment arising from a motor vehicle accident. The Court ruled that Plaintiffs failed to establish that the defendant entrusted the vehicle to the driver and, further, there was no evidence that the driver of the vehicle was not competent to drive at the time of the alleged entrustment. Affirmed.
